When her best friend, the only family she really loves, goes missing she tries to investigate her disappearance and she has one clue. Her marriage to Lowe is part of the investigation. This is only the second time this has happened, an interspecies marriage, and the first time didn’t end well. Everyone has their own agendas when it comes to the marriage but one thing is for sure, no one expected the marriage to work.

This is my first Ali Hazelwood book and I was KNOT disappointed 😏 (IYKYK). This was spicy and entertaining. Misery was funny, her banter with Lowe was spot on. I thought she was great. I liked the story as well. I was actually torn between giving it 5 stars but settled on 4. I recommend it!
